The charming village Velturno – called Feldthurns in German – is situated in a sun-blessed location in the popular holiday region Valle Isarco. This lovely holiday village nearby Bressanone allures its visitors with a wide range of activities for everybody.

This place has been known as a hiking paradise ever since and offers picture-perfect panoramas: easy hikes across colourful fields or challenging tours up to majestic mountain peaks are rewarded with great look-outs; and this not only in summer but also during the cold season, while skiing, snowshoeing or alpine touring. It is strongly recommended to take a trip to the rolling falls of Monte Ruzzo or to climb the 2.436 metre high Monte Pascolo.

Its location in the sunny low mountain range in the holiday region Valle Isarco makes Velturno a very special place; during the "Törggelen" season it invites its guests to take romantic walks through chestnut orchards and vineyards and you should not miss to join tastings of the region’s traditional delicacies.

Attention culture vultures: Velturno is also well known for one of South Tyrol’s most popular Renaissance buildings, the Castle Velturno.
